The Microsoft Windows Media Service Provider (WMSP) Program represents independent companies worldwide who provide customer services using Windows Media. Program members have demonstrated use of Microsoft technologies in successful digital media deployments. Core capabilities may include encoding, content capture, content management, live event production, enterprise deployment, advertising, and rights management. In support of these efforts and free of charge, Microsoft provides the WMSP community with benefits to assist them in the Internet marketplace—including access to marketing, sales, and technical resources.
